Summary: Executes data analysis, develops and executes targeted marketing, electronic and other promotional campaigns by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Analyzes marketing programs the help evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Works closely with graphic artists, writers, and developers in the design and usability of marketing campaigns.
Negotiates contract terms with suppliers.
Assists in development of targeted marketing plans and budgets.
Helps manage marketing budget.
Develops targeted marketing programs for direct sales, lead generation, trade shows, and Web campaigns, following marketing plan and budget constraints.
Defines targeted marketing programs to support brand message and quality standards.
Contracts with and coordinates activities of off-site agencies, database suppliers, list brokers, and vendors.
Identifies target market segments by demographic and/or psychographic characteristics.
Conducts test programs to measure effectiveness of media, list, creative, and offer.
Develops offer(s), target revenues, and response rates based on list quantities and costs.
Tracks and analyzes results of test marketing programs and recommends programs to be expanded.
Reviews and evaluates market research to use in forecasting future direct marketing needs.
Communicates details of targeted marketing programs to sales, customer service, operations, and other departments involved with taking and fulfilling orders.
Helps establish and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events.

Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
